The wrist is made up of a complex set of joints with 15 bones and a number of ligaments and muscles working together to provide a large range and skilful control of movement at the hand and fingers. The wrist is susceptible to injury from trauma (such as a fall) and overuse injuries. Physiotherapy will work towards restoring normal movement, strength and function to the wrist.
